Microsoft is bringing a whole slew of first party titles to the Xbox One this Fall. From Forza Motorsport 5, to Ryse: Son of Rome, to Dead Rising 3. However, when it comes to pre-orders, all of those exclusive first party titles are beaten by EA’s Battlefield 4.
Since Microsoft announced their change of hearts when it came to DRM and always-on Internet connection, Xbox One pre-orders increased and almost matched PlayStation 4 pre-orders. And while Battlefield 4 has taken the top spot when it comes to pre-orders, Microsoft’s first party titles are right behind: Dead Rising 3 comes in at second, while third place is taken by Ryse. Forza Motorsport 5 comes in at five.
The Xbox One launches this Fall with a great selection of first and third party games. Microsoft will launch the Xbox One with 4 exclusive first party titles, and third party publishers will bring an additional dozen games, from Activision’s Call of Duty Ghosts, to EA Sports’ FIFA 13 and NBA Live 13, to Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs and Assassin’s Creed 4.
Microsoft has several Xbox One exclusive games planned for release during the launch window, including Killer Instinct, Quantum Break, and Insomniac’s Sunset Overdrive. Heck, we might even get a new Crackdown game.
