Microsoft officially announced launch details regarding the Xbox One earlier today, and there’s a lot to take in. We know it’s coming this November, we know it’ll be a cool $500, and Amazon is already accepting pre-sales for the thing. Microsoft also shed more light on what the “Day One Edition” would consist of that we picked up on before the press conference.
Those who pre-order the device for delivery on the first day will get:
- Limited edition controller
- Token to unlock an exclusive “Day One” achievement
- Special packaging for the console
- Special decal to commemorate the launch.
- Potentially more
We’re not quite sure how all of this looks just yet, but it doesn’t cost a dime extra. If you were considering buying the Xbox One on launch date then there’s no reason you shouldn’t want all of these goods. If you’ve already made your mind up on whether or not you want this console you can head to Amazon and pre-order yours today. Don’t forget — Amazon won’t charge you until it ships!
